If you disconnect an audio device that is selected to be used by a Play Sound action, the audio file may play on your systems default playback device instead.
💡 This can be particularly useful to create a better and more accessible experience for your viewers.
For example, if you have a rule created that allows users to jump scare you with a loud audio file, you can have one Play Sound action with the loud jump scare audio file play to an audio device that only you can hear. Then have a second Play Sound action with a different audio file that is much quieter play to an audio device that the stream can here!
This allows you to still get startled by a loud audio file, and the stream hears a lower volume version or a different file completely. Thus creating a more inviting experience for users who are auditorily sensitive or ‘lurking’!
