MIDI Trigger: Active Sense
The Active Sense trigger is a MIDI-based input. It detects when a MIDI Active Sense message is received from the specified MIDI device.
If a MIDI device supports Active Sense, it will send out a message every 300 milliseconds to let the other devices it’s connected to know that it’s still connected. This will only activate if there has been no other MIDI message sent out for the last 300 milliseconds. Once the device becomes active again (is sending MIDI messages) the Active Sense messages will stop until there’s been another 300 milliseconds of “silence”.
